A Visual History of Windows 7 Forums

Over the course of many years, our website started from early beginnings. Once known as Windows Vista Forums (winvistaforums.com), the website spent almost three years counting down to the release of Microsoft Windows Vista. Several years later, that site acquired Windows7Forums.com, and over the years, many aesthetic changes have taken place. We were recently able to access some historical data regarding the "look" of the website and its evolution through web design. From 2005 to 2012, the site went through many drastic redesigns. In some cases, it looks like we probably should have left things the way they were for awhile!

No matter what the website looks like today, or did in the past, it says nothing of the enormous effort and value our members have placed into dedicating their resources to helping each other. Not to mention the millions of visitors, from Link Removed due to 404 Error, that visit around the clock.

Still, there is something to be said about the design work that has gone into this site, and whether that is good or bad is in the eye of the beholder.

In my humble opinion i think the 2011-08-20 was amazing why did you change it?

There were a lot of issues with compatibility with forum code updates. We could always change it back
