Windows Vista Add Link to Start Menu - Windows Link

I believe the right hand column on the Start Menu is called Windows Links.
Is there a way to add a link to a local folder here? I would like to create a link to Program Files which is not an option on the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties>Start Menu tab>Customize Start Menu menu.

You could always create a shortcut on the desktop...
