Windows 10 Any ideas on how I can maintain the location of OPEN windows on a remote machine across sessions?

I am using RDP to connect to my workstation, from which I rarely log out, leaving all open applications as is from session to session. Do you know of any way I can maintain the relative position of OPEN windows on the desktop? Every time I disconnect from RDP, I have to rearrange everything. :-( TIA.

GREETINGS!

You might want to take a look at this blog post to give you some ideas...

I rarely use RDP myself, so my apologies if I do not have any infinite wisdom other that somebody elses...

Cheers!

Thank you for the quick response. However, I have been aware of all the points mentioned in that post for years and have routinely configured them all. None of them address the issue I am having.

However, in the past few hours, I have come across the only software I know of that even remotely approaches what I want to accomplish:

It is still does not auto-start. I am trying to figure that out.
