I have an ASUS P5B-MX Motherboard I've been using in LINUX for the past few years with no issues.

I install Windows 7 and have no sound. I download the latest sound drivers for Vista 32 bit off the ASUS website. This updates my Realtek High Definition Audio in Device Manager, but there is an error with the device "Multimedia Audio Controller"

I've donwloaded Driver Guide at someone else's suggestion and it was unable to detect my Multimedia Audio Controller.

What can I do? Is there something I can do to fix it? Should I purchase a cheap sound card?
