Today ASUS introduced the new Republic of Gaming (ROG) PC gaming hardware lineup at ROG Unleashed in San Francisco. The new ROG line up, together with Windows 10 brings some fantastic hardware for PC gamers. ASUS Chairman Jonney Shih was joined on stage by Terry Myerson, who showed the best new features designed to help PC gamers get the most out of their ROG machines, including DirectX 12 technology, Game DVR and Xbox One game streaming. Together they showcased how the ROG PCs with Windows 10 and Intel’s 6th Generation Processors truly make the ROG lineup a great choice for PC gamers. Windows 10
With Windows 10 Microsoft Game DVR functionality lets gamers capture video clips and screenshots while playing PC games to watch later or upload to share on social media for friends and everyone to see. Xbox One game streaming capabilities enables users to stream games from their Xbox One[, including exclusive-titles such as Forza Motorsport 6, the upcoming Halo 5: Guardians and other titles, directly to an ASUS ROG notebook, desktop or system with ASUS ROG components.
ROG GX700
Mobile gaming receives a new desktop-class competitor with the ASUS ROG GX700 powerhouse that satisfies the computing needs of the most demanding desktop and mobile gamers. The ROG GX700 is a self-contained liquid-cooling dock that enables cooling performance while also lowering noise. The liquid-cooling unit includes rigorously tested automotive-grade components to ensure long-term reliability.
Residing within the notebook is the latest 6th Generation Intel Core i7 K-series processor that’s unlocked for easier overclocking and a desktop-class NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 graphics processor that’s also overclockable and ready for next-generation virtual-reality (VR) gaming. Beneath the new chassis is a Hyper Cool with Duo-copper cooling system that incorporates heat-pipes and dual fans to independently cool the CPU and GPU for maximum cooling efficiency that strikes the perfect balance of performance and noise for uninterrupted gaming marathons.
