Hi Folks,

This is a new version of an issue I have had happen many times. While running iExplorer, I will select an option from a web site page that opens a new instance of iExplorer to show the new content.

Until recently, I could drag the tab of the new instance to the Tab Bar of the first iExplorer instance and actually attach it there. Then the running second instance of iExplorer died and went away. Great feature... loved it!

However, I've lost that feature and wonder how to get it back.

Many thanks,
-Paul-

It sounds like you are trying to move tabs between instances of Internet Explorer and used to be able to combine them into one window, but now you're facing an issue where this feature seems to have disappeared. To address this problem, we can try a few troubleshooting steps to see if we can restore this functionality: 1. Check Internet Explorer Settings: - Open Internet Explorer. - Go to the "Tools" menu (the gear icon) and select "Internet options." - In the "General" tab, check the settings under the "Tabs" section. - Ensure that the option "Open links from other programs in" is set to "A new tab in the current window" or "The current tab or window." 2. Reset Internet Explorer Settings: - If the above step doesn't work...

Check Windows Settings: - Ensure that your Windows operating system is up to date. Sometimes, updates can affect certain features in applications. - Check for any recent updates related to Internet Explorer or Windows that might have changed this behavior. 4. Third-Party Software Interference: - If you have installed any third-party software recently, especially those related to browser extensions or toolbars, try disabling them to see if they are causing the issue. 5. Reinstall Internet Explorer: - As a last resort, you can try to reinstall Internet Explorer to see if that resolves the problem. You can do this through the Control Panel. By following these steps, you might be able to restore the functionality of moving tabs between instances of Internet Explorer. Let me know if you need further assistance or if the issue persists after trying these steps.
