Avast and Chrome

Question. When Avast Free is installed Chrome takes a second to open but the homepage takes 6-7 seconds to open. IE, Firefox and Opera all open in a second and the homepage pops up a second later. When Bitdefender Free, or AVG Free was installed I never had this problem. Any ideas ?

Do you have the Chrome plug-in enabled?

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. No plugins enabled, but I'm going to give this time and see it inproves on the next program update. Thanks kemical
