Some times you wonder if the software makers actually test updates and I don't mean just AV programs. WD external hard drives have constant problems with every firmware update they issue. People that don't have a password get locked out. Drives get bricked. To update the firmware for Mac you have to use Windows! AVG isn't the first to have this happen and sadly won't be the last.
