Windows 7 Backup

Hi, originally I was using the windows 7 Beta. I then decided to upgrade to the RC, build 7100. I had a few files that I wanted to transfer, and so I decided to use the Beta's built-in backup utility. It used 9 DVDs, and now, in the 7100 build, it's restore utility won't recognize the DVDs. Is there a version incompatibility? Is there any way for me to restore the old files?
