Help me please I have this problem with my laptop when I remove the charger it instantly shuts down my laptop and it always stays at 0% I can't fix it please help.

Solution
I had a laptop from work and it was showing plugged in, not charging. The problem was that, although the charger was a Lenovo charger, it wasn’t the correct wattage. Therefore, it was not powerful enough to charge the battery.

It would run the laptop, but would not do any charging. Replacing the battery did help increase the run time of the machine, but without the correct charger, no battery charging was done.

Maybe check to see the charger is correct to ensure you’re not buying a battery prematurely. Just my $0.02

Sounds like your battery has failed.

@patcooke
So I should just buy a new battery?

That's almost certainly the problem - how old is the machine?

I don't know but it was gifted to me last year.

What is the make and model and operating system?

I don't know which laptop you have but for some brands you need to remove and reinsert the battery to reset the loading electronics.
