Windows 7 blue screan but it is not the blue screan of death

Not a lot of information to go on and no system specs in your profile...so I would say first check event viewer and see if any errors are reported there in the system log. Check device manager and make sure everything has an installed driver, check the Mobo Mfg and see if there's a very recent BIOS version update, I've bought brand new motherboards and had to flash the bios to get an OS to even install, check your power settings, and make sure that you don't have any custom screen savers that are trying to load and failing, also custom sounds that maybe corrupt and finally just for peace of mind, try running sfc /scannow from an elevated command prompt and see if there are any corrupted system files.
