Hi

Since I installed my Creative SB X-Fi Titanium on my PC (with Windows 7 64 bit) i getting BSOD error when I play the first STALKER game and running Skype or Teamspeak 2 in the background.
Page_Fault_in_nonpaged_area
code: 0x00050
Otherwise the stalker game runs fine without Skype and Teamspeak 2 running in the background!
This BSOD error started to ocurr on other games as well such as Battlefield 2 (with Project Reality mod) having these voice chatting softwars running (its either Teamspeak 2 or Skype at the time). I never had these problem with the intergrated sound on my motherboard (ASUS P5Q Premium [LGA775]). These errors started happening after i installed the SB X-fi's win7 x64 drivers from Creative's download site (when Windows update is aint familiar with this device). i had already removed the integrated sound drivers before i started to install the soundblaster x-fi of course. there has been no other BSOD error while i've been on the desktop. it only start happening when i load a saved game in stalker or joining a server in Project Reality.

    • Make sure you have the latest drivers for your Creative SB X-Fi Titanium sound card. Visit Creative's official website to download and install the most recent drivers compatible with Windows 7 64-bit.
    []Check for Conflicting Software:
    • Ensure that there are no conflicts between the sound card drivers and the voice chatting software (Skype or Teamspeak 2). Try running the games without these voice chatting programs to see if the BSOD error persists.
    [
    ]Verify Hardware Compatibility:
    • Confirm that your sound card is compatible with your motherboard (ASUS P5Q Premium) and other hardware components. Check for any known compatibility issues between the sound card and your system configuration.
    []Memory Testing:
    • Run a memory diagnostic test to check for any issues with your RAM modules. Windows has a built-in tool called Windows Memory Diagnostics that can help you identify memory problems.
    [
    ]Check for Overclocking Stability:
    • If you've overclocked your system, revert to the default settings and check if the BSOD error persists. Overclocking can sometimes lead to system instability, causing such errors.
    []Event Viewer Check:
    • Use the Event Viewer in Windows to look for specific error messages that might provide more details about the cause of the BSOD. Look for any critical errors or warnings around the time of the crashes.
    [
    ]BIOS Update:
    • Ensure that your motherboard's BIOS is up to date. Sometimes, updating the BIOS can resolve compatibility issues and improve system stability.
  2. System File Checker:
    • Run the System File Checker tool to scan and repair corrupted system files that could be causing the BSOD error. Open a Command Prompt with admin rights and type: sfc /scannow. By following these steps, you should be able to diagnose and potentially resolve the BSOD error you're experiencing when running specific games with voice chatting software on your system. If the issue persists, feel free to provide more details for further assistance.
