Heya!

I've had this problem for quite a while now. My laptop tend to crash while I'm playing games.
It started when the laptop was new, but disappeared after a while. I can't remember what I did to fix it.
I formatted the laptop a few months ago and had problems since that. I tried formatting it again, I've also tried many different drivers, all without any greater success.

I know the crashes aren't because of heat and most likely not because of hardware issue.

So my laptop is an Acer Aspire 7750g.
AMD Radeon HD 6850M
Intel Core i7-2630QM
Microsoft Security Essentials

I tried to follow Link Removed
Tell me if I missed something I should include.

Thanks in advance.
Kind regards, Puk.

Solution
adfs.sys is usually associated w/Adobe Reader - but it's an Adobe filter driver so it could be with any Adobe app. Just un-install Reader and see if that helps.

As for the PxHlpa64.sys - it's a PITA to remove manually. The other options are to remove all CD/DVD apps - or to just leave it alone and see if something else fixes the problem (I haven't seen it be at fault very often).
Please check Windows Update to ensure that you have ALL available updates.

The drivers for this device aren't installed - please download and install them:
Inte tillgängligt USB\VID_0B97&PID_7732\7&2484081F&0&1 The drivers for this device are not installed.
This is most likely an O2Micro USB Smart Card Reader device.

Daemon Tools (and Alcohol % software) are known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems (mostly due to the sptd.sys driver, although I have seen dtsoftbus01.sys blamed on several occasions).
Please un-install the program, then use the following free tool to ensure that the troublesome sptd.sys driver is removed from your system (pick the 32 or 64 bit system depending on your system's configuration): [DEL] Link Removed [/DEL] Link broken as of 21 Jul 2012
New link (15 Aug 2012): Link Removed (pick the appropriate version for your system and select "Un-install" when you run it).

Your NEC Electronics USB 3.0 Host Controller Driver may have BSOD issues with the 2010 version - check for an updated version at the manufacturer's website.

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

If all of this doesn't stop the BSOD's, please run these free hardware diagnostics: Link Removed. Let us know the results and we can move on from there.

Hello, first of all thanks!

I found 8 new updates with Windows Update. Managed to remove Daemon Tools. DuplexSecure couldn't find sptd.sys so I guess it also is removed. Updated nusb3hub.sys and nusb3xhc.sys. I believe dtsoftbus01.sys also got deleted when I removed Daemon Tools.

So that leaves adfs.SYS and PxHlpa64.sys.
I couldn't find out how to update them. And I couldn't find which program uses PxHlpa64.sys, so I couldn't uninstall that.

adfs.sys is usually associated w/Adobe Reader - but it's an Adobe filter driver so it could be with any Adobe app. Just un-install Reader and see if that helps.

As for the PxHlpa64.sys - it's a PITA to remove manually. The other options are to remove all CD/DVD apps - or to just leave it alone and see if something else fixes the problem (I haven't seen it be at fault very often).
