I have a boot mgr problem. When I boot up I get two choices one is a good working win7 and the other is a partial win 7 install that comes up as windows setup. What I need to do is remove the win set up choice and nothing I've tried seems to do that. What do I need to do to get rid of the win set up app? Thanks.

Solution
you have 2 options i believe so try this first

if u can get into windows normally go to start , in the box where it says search programs and files > type msconfig > go to tab "boot" > you will see in the tab on the lines of windows 7 (c:windows) current OS; etc etc.> select the one thats not in use and click delete > apply > ok > reboot . lemme no if it works,.

BE CAREFUL! DONT DELETE THE WRONG ONE OR URE PC WONT BOOT UP correctly.

(we can help u repair ure MBR so DONT panic, BUT BE CAREFUL! :) )

Did it in the safe mode and it worked. You saved me from a huge headache. Many thanks.
