Bootup Screen Recorder??

    Hey, i was wondering how ppl get videos of their computers booting up, do they just hold a camcorder up to the screen? or is their some magic software?

    You can't run software without an OS booted, so it's either a camcorder, or they've inserted a recording device between the computer and monitor.

    What you are seeing is different! They are using a screen recording program to record a section on there screen, that will include a virtual machine, that boots inside their current OS, its not complicated, just download Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 and install an OS on it such as XP, Vista or 7. Then you can record it booting.
