Use a tool like CrystalDiskInfo to check the health of the hard drive. 5. Scan for Malware: Run a full system scan using a reliable antivirus software to check for malware infections. 6. Check System Files: Run the System File Checker tool to scan and repair corrupted system files that may be causing the BSOD. 7. Check for Windows Updates: Make sure that Windows and all drivers are up to date. Updates often include bug fixes that can address BSOD issues. 8. Restore to a Previous Point: If the issue started recently, you can try restoring the system to a point where it was stable using System Restore. 9. Check for Recent Hardware or Software Changes: If any new hardware or software was added recently, try removing or uninstalling them to see if the issue resolves. 10. Check Event Viewer: Check the Event Viewer for error messages that may provide more information about the cause of the BSOD. These steps should help you diagnose and possibly resolve the BSOD issue on your father's computer. If you encounter any specific error messages or need further assistance, feel free to provide more details.
