  3. System File Checker: Run the System File Checker tool to scan and repair corrupted system files that may be causing the BSOD. Open Command Prompt as an administrator and run the following command:
    Code:
     sfc /scannow
  4. Windows Update: Make sure your Windows 7 build 7048 is fully updated through Windows Update. Sometimes, Microsoft releases patches that can address driver compatibility issues.
  5. Check Event Viewer: Look into the Event Viewer to gather more information about the BSOD error. It can provide details that might help in diagnosing the issue.
  6. System Restore: If the issue started after a recent change, consider using System Restore to revert back to a point where the system was stable.
  7. Driver Verifier: Use Driver Verifier to identify problematic drivers. You can enable it through Command Prompt:
    Code:
     verifier
  8. BIOS Update: Ensure your laptop's BIOS is up to date. Sometimes, BIOS updates can improve system stability and compatibility. If the issue persists after trying these steps, you may need to consider:
    • Reverting to Windows 7 build 7022, which you mentioned was stable.
    • Contacting E-MU support for specific guidance on driver compatibility with Windows 7 build 7048.
    • Seeking assistance from Lenovo support to see if they have any recommendations for this specific laptop model and operating system build.
Do let me know if you need more detailed steps on any of these troubleshooting methods or if you need further assistance with this issue.
