Windows 7 Call of Juarez (crash at startup)

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has been able to get Call of Juarez up and running on Windows 7 yet and if so what did they do? My game would crash at the splash screen without loading into the game and gave this error:

CScriptManager::RegisterCPPMethod(..):No java native method:

Module:: DeleteAllSounds, signature: ()V

I installed the latest Java runtime environment package thinking that was the problem but it did nothing, any ideas?
