Hi guys, i recently reinstalled windows 7 home premium 64 bit on to my Dell laptop and now my WLAN is not working, when I try and change adapter settings I see no wireless option. pressing the on/off key for wireless has no effect and when I look into my devices, I see my network controller option with an exclamation point. Can someone help me find the proper driver? I dont have factory discs.

Hardware ID: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_422C&SUBSYS_13218086&RE…

Please and thank you.

If you go to the makers website of your laptop and look for your specific model, you should be able to find drivers for your network adapter.

With a Dell system, you can normally just enter the service Tag and be taken to your exact system. Probably an Intel WiFi driver or maybe a Dell version.

Did the unit come with Windows 7 installed originally? What model is it?

@ Cooley, that happened to work just fine for me, not sure why I ran into the issue. I got the drivers from the site you provided and installed, restarted, and presto!

@ Saltgrass, it did come with 7 pre-installed and working properly. I had a separate partition for 7.

Thanks for helping me out guys. Appreciate it.
