My daughter did Windows Update for August on the 9th, one of the updates was SP1. She has Windows 7 Home Premium, 32 bit. When she did Windows Update the SP1 update 'failed'. I told her to do standalone download of SP1, which she did and when she tried to 'run' the install she gets a message stating 'Microsoft Windows debugging symbols' and she cannot install the SP1. She does not get a blue screen and computer is functioning fine.
What should we do to get SP1 installed? I am fairly computer literate and actually set up her computer but never have run across a debugging symbols message.
Can anyone help??
