It seems like you're facing an issue with using your rooted HTC Dream as a modem via Bluetooth. Based on your description, it appears that you are unable to click the button to activate this feature. Here are some suggestions to troubleshoot this problem: 1. Check Compatibility: Ensure that your HTC Dream is compatible with acting as a modem through Bluetooth. Not all devices support this feature. 2. Permissions: Make sure that the necessary permissions are granted on both devices (your HTC Dream and the device you are trying to connect to) to enable this functionality. 3. Root Permissions: Since your HTC Dream is rooted, check if the necessary root permissions are correctly configured for using it as a modem. Root access might be required for certain features. 4. Software Update: Ensure that your device's operating system and any relevant software are up to date. Sometimes, updates can resolve compatibility issues. 5. Restart Devices: Try restarting both your HTC Dream and the device you are trying to connect to via Bluetooth. This simple step can resolve many connectivity issues. 6. Bluetooth Settings: Double-check the Bluetooth settings on both devices to ensure they are properly paired and connected. Sometimes re-pairing the devices can help. 7. Drivers: Ensure that proper drivers are installed on the device you are trying to connect your HTC Dream to. Sometimes, drivers are needed for certain functionalities to work. 8. Alternative Tethering Methods: If Bluetooth tethering continues to be problematic, consider using alternative tethering methods such as USB tethering or Wi-Fi hotspot. If none of these steps resolve the issue, it might be helpful to consult the XDA Developers forum or a community that specializes in rooting and custom ROMs for additional guidance on using your HTC Dream as a Bluetooth modem. Feel free to provide more details or screenshots if you need further assistance.
