I've got a server running Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise and I've added a Printserver role, but I can't find any Server drivers from Canon. Would you think it would be ok to try using Vista drivers for this machine or should I do XP? I've heard that XP drivers function better, though I can't imagine that to be the case, doesn't seem logical...

Thoughts? Ideas?

Solution
Windows Server 2008 R2 is based on refinements made to the Windows Vista, and thus Windows 7, kernels. Try the Vista drivers first. If they are unsigned, you may be out of luck.

Solution
After downloading and installing the Canon MX310 Windows Vista (x64) driver package, I plugged my printer in, and nothing. So I went through the process of manually adding the printer to a specific port (usb2) and it worked like a charm! I my home server is now also a Print Server. Awesome! Thanks!
