Windows 7 cd/dvd driver wont work

I have been running windows 7 7100 build x64/64-bits for a few weeks but now i have a problem it says on device manager that is working but when i go into my computer no cd/dvd are showing, If i put a cd in it would seem like its loading (green light flashing) but thats about it :confused:

Its a SONY CD-RW/DVD/ROM CRX300E ATA Device and i have tryed it woth a TSS/DSS DVD/RW ATA Device but im getting the same messge :( and i have tryed updated the driver in device manager but got no luck :(

I think I have a similar issue. The CD drive appears in Windows Explorer and if I put a CD or DVD in the drive it shows the title of the disc but it won't autorun and explorer locks up and stops responding while the disc is in the drive. Intel E8400 Core Duo and (I think) 945G chipset. The CD/DVD is IDE not SATA.
