Is there a way to change the default result in start menu when searching for specific keyword?
I want that the first program listed will be MediaMonkey when i search for "media" and not VLC media player...
(I know i can write "mediamonkey" or go with the arrows, but that's not acceptable for me;))

To change the default result in the Start Menu when searching for a specific keyword like "media," you would normally need to tweak the Windows Search Index. However, adjusting the order of search results is not a standard customization feature in Windows. That said, you can try the following workaround to potentially influence the search results: 1. Pin MediaMonkey to Start Menu: - Pinning MediaMonkey to the Start menu may help ensure it appears higher in the search results when you search for "media." 2. Modify File Attributes: - Change the last modified date of the MediaMonkey shortcut to be more recent, which might affect its position in the search results. This is not guaranteed to work but may give some influence. 3...

Use Third-Party Tools: - There are third-party tools and utilities available that may provide more advanced customization options for the Start Menu search results. These tools can help you better control the search ranking. 4. Consider Group Policy Edits: - Advanced users can explore the Group Policy settings to see if there are any options related to search result ordering. However, this approach requires technical knowledge and can have system-wide implications. 5. Wait for Updates or New Features: - Microsoft continues to enhance Windows 10 search functionality, so keep an eye out for updates that may include more customization options for search results. While these workarounds may not directly achieve the precise customization you're looking for, they offer a way to potentially influence the search results. Remember that modifying system files and settings carries some risks, so proceed with caution and always create backups before making changes.
