Windows 7 Changing Default VST Directory

Hello there,
I've run into a bit of a problem. I cannot figure out how to change the default path for VST plugins in Windows 7. In Vista and previous, you could simply change the path in the registry.

I am asking because I use Adobe Premier, Media Encoder, etc. They read my default VST directory, find several VST plug-ins that are not compatible, and fail to start. The installed VSTs are crucial to some of my other work, so I can't really to remove them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)

problem is solved. i swear i must be losing my mind. under further inspection of the registry, the value is here:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Wow6432Node > VST > VSTPluginsPath

It is different than previous versions of Windows, but not much. There are several keys and values containing the letters 'vst' that have nothing to do with 'Virtual Studio Technology'. So that's why it didn't jump out at first. :D
