Aloha !

Soooo my little Dell Latitude E5500 had a HDD crash and got a brand spanking new HDD... well, I had it in storage somewhere...
This 'new' HDD is completely empty, not even a filesystem on it thus it was time for a clean install.
I grabbed my official Dell Restore DVD, put it in but after just a few minutes I got :

winpeshl.exe - Unable To Locate Component
This application has failed to start because VirtDisk.dll was not
found. Re-Installing the application may fix this problem.

After Googling the only suggestion I got was to download it and place it in the directory where the to-be-installed program is.
But that is the Vista Business DVD from Dell ???

So I am stuck in a boot-from-DVD-loop 😢

Could anyone please point me in the right direction ???
