Windows 7 Compaq Presario CQ56 110SM asking for hdd drivers during windows 7 installation....HELP NEEDED A.S.A

hey guys,i have just bought compaq presario cq56-110sm,but it came along with SUSE Linux Enterprise.However,i am a music producer and because of my neeeds,i want to install windows 7. First,i have disconected the hdd from my laptop and hooked it up to my pc and formated it completely,hooked it back to the lap top,and tried to isntall windows,but then,it asked for hdd drivers and it acts like there is no hdd attached (it does recognise it in the bios).....please help asap

hi,
i'm guessing the drive is a sata? what chipset does the laptop have? sometimes you can generate a sata driver from the motherboard disc, by having the disc in the drive on power up.

yes,it is sata type hdd...but i didn't get the drivers for it...and the chipset information is nowhere to be found on the internet...not even on their own website...

AMD RS880M is the chipset inside,but i still can't find the way to fix this...
