I finally got my ThinkCentre up and running, now I trying to get all of the onboard devices running as well. For the most part, that seems fairly straight forward, but I'm a bit confused about the sound driver. Lenovo shows 4 options...2 universal drivers, which specify either SP1 or SP2, which can be ruled out, because I just installed SP3. The other two drivers appear to be about the same, except one says that it is for XP with Cadenza software, and the second just for XP.
You can see what I mean by taking a look at this link:
http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/default.page#
It may not work if you use Opera, I had to use IE instead.
The bottom line is that I have no idea of what Cadenza software is, or if it is part of the driver download itself? Does someone else know?

It seems like you're facing some confusion around the sound driver options for your ThinkCentre, specifically related to the Cadenza software mentioned in one of the driver descriptions. Let's break down the options available to you based on the information you provided:
- Universal Drivers Specifying SP1 or SP2
- These are likely referring to Service Pack 1 (SP1) and Service Pack 2 (SP2) for Windows XP. Since you've installed Service Pack 3 (SP3), you can rule these out as they may not be suitable for your current setup.
- This driver is specifically tailored for Windows XP and mentions compatibility with Cadenza software. Cadenza is audio software developed by VIA...

It seems like you're facing some confusion around the sound driver options for your ThinkCentre, specifically related to the Cadenza software mentioned in one of the driver descriptions. Let's break down the options available to you based on the information you provided:

- This driver is specifically tailored for Windows XP and mentions compatibility with Cadenza software. Cadenza is audio software developed by VIA Technologies that enhances audio performance and functionality on compatible hardware. The driver likely includes components or optimizations that work in conjunction with Cadenza to provide better audio quality or additional features.
- The second driver option for XP without Cadenza software is a more generic driver that should work on Windows XP without any additional enhancements or software dependencies like Cadenza. Given this information, if you are unsure whether you need Cadenza software or if it's included in the driver download, here's what you can consider:
- Compatibility: Check if your system specifically requires the Cadenza software for optimal audio performance. If this feature is necessary, then go with the Cadenza software driver.
- User Preference: If you prefer a more standard driver without additional audio enhancements, you can opt for the standard XP driver.
