I view the Control Panel in "classic view". On the left hand side of the screen is a large wasted area. At the top it lists "Control Panel Home" and "Classic View". Is there a way to get rid of that and merely see the icons?

Solution
In Windows Vista Home Premium, if you are using the Control Panel in "classic view" and want to remove the large wasted area on the left side of the screen where it lists "Control Panel Home" and "Classic View," you have a few options to customize the Control Panel display to better suit your preferences. Here's how you can customize the Control Panel display in Windows Vista Home Premium: 1. Switch to Category View: - If you prefer a cleaner layout without the large wasted area in Classic View, you can switch to Category View. In Category View, you will see the Control Panel items organized by category with icons. To switch to Category View: - Open the Control Panel. - Click on "Switch to Category View" located on the left side...
