Hi,

Am looking for a way to force the pen on my external tablet monitor to behave like the mouse using keyboard shortcuts.
App in question is MS Whiteboard.
Have tried uinsg "left click" as a setting in the driver, and holding down the left click on the mouse and moving the pen cursor.
No joy.

Any tips gratefully received.

Best regards,

Solution
To configure your pen on your external tablet monitor to behave like the mouse using keyboard shortcuts, particularly with Microsoft Whiteboard, you can consider these steps: 1. Pen Input Mapping: - Driver Settings: Check your pen or tablet driver settings. Look for an option that allows you to remap pen functions. Some pen tablets offer the flexibility to customize button functions or map pen movements to mouse behaviors. - Pen Button Shortcuts: Some pens have buttons that can be configured to act as mouse clicks. Ensure your pen is calibrated correctly and that the buttons are mapped appropriately. - Whiteboard Settings: In Microsoft Whiteboard, explore the application settings to see if there are any options...

Windows Accessibility Options: - Pen & Touch Settings: Go to your Windows settings and check the Pen & Touch settings. You might find additional options there that can help modify the behavior of your pen input. - Ease of Access: Look at the Ease of Access settings in Windows for any options related to pen input or interaction modifications. 3. Whiteboard Interaction: - Keyboard Shortcuts: Microsoft Whiteboard may have specific keyboard shortcuts for various functions. Check the Whiteboard documentation for any relevant shortcuts that can help with pen interactions. - Toolbox Options: Explore the Whiteboard toolbox for additional tools or options that might assist in pen navigation or interaction. 4. Third-Party Tools: - AutoHotkey: Consider using AutoHotkey scripts to customize pen behavior. AutoHotkey allows you to create custom scripts to remap input actions and automate tasks. By exploring these options and adjusting settings both on your pen tablet driver and within Whiteboard settings, you should be able to tailor the pen behavior to mimic mouse functionality. Feel free to experiment with these settings and tools based on your specific requirements to enhance your pen interaction experience with Microsoft Whiteboard.
