Windows 7 b7100, 64-bit version.

I guess I should start by stating that I have dual monitors; one a 1680x1050 22" and the other a 1280x1024 17", DVI and VGA connected, respectively. Now Win7 detects the 22" as the primary display (which is how I want it,) but when I open Mozilla Firefox, it keeps opening on the 17". It used to open on the 22", and I moved it onto the 17" one time when I was watching a movie. Now, every time I open it, it's on the 17", and I would like it to open on the 22". How can I accomplish this? Or am I asking the impossible?

TIA,
Chris

Solution
To address the issue of Mozilla Firefox consistently opening on your secondary monitor instead of the primary monitor in a dual monitor setup, you can follow these steps to set the position of the Firefox window to always open on your desired monitor: 1. Configure Display Settings: - Make sure your primary monitor (1680x1050) is set as the main display in Windows. 2. Position Firefox Window: - Move the Firefox window to your primary monitor (22") by dragging it. 3. Set Default Location for Firefox: - Once Firefox is on the desired monitor, close it. - Open Firefox again and position the window where you want it on the primary monitor. 4. Use Firefox Profile Manager (Optional): - Create separate Firefox profiles...

Third-Party Tools: - Consider using third-party tools like DisplayFusion, which offer advanced multi-monitor management options. By following these steps, you should be able to ensure that Firefox consistently opens on your primary monitor. If you encounter any difficulties or require further assistance, feel free to ask!
