Windows 7 Dell Inspirion 530 Hang and BSOD at shutdown

Evening,

My grandfather has a Dell inspirion 530 that is hanging and then BSOD'ing when shutting down with windows 7. Here is the memory.dmp:

It appears that the microsoft Hidbatt.sys is causing a BSOD on shut down due to some type of inconsistency. Anyone have any idea if there is a solution for this? it is one of the last two issues that I cannot resolve for him. I am in washington state and he is in california so we have been working through this via skype.
 
I don't know if this will help you or not. I had a similar problem with Vista. It turned out after I disconnected my printer. It was ok. What I found out was my bios needed updating. Once that was done and I reconnected the printer, I had no more problems. That may not be your problem. Still it wouldn't hurt to see if the bios is the latest one. I also have a Dell Inspirion 530.
