Windows 7 Disable User Select Screen

  • Thread Author
Hi, I've got a computer with Windows 7 Home Premium. There are two users, but I want that the computers always starts with the same user (no password) and not to show the user select screen.
Is this possible??

Just after posting, I've found the answer!!

Press the Windows key + R on your keyboard to launch the “Run” dialog box.
Type in control userpasswords2
Press Enter. The User Accounts window will display.
Uncheck the option “Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer”
Click “OK”
You will then be prompted to enter the current password and confirm it.
After doing so, you will no longer be prompted to enter your password upon login.

Right click on the icon of the program you want to remove from the task bar and when the list pops up click on "unpin this program from task bar"
