There seems to be a problem with the following configuration:
Radeon X1300 / X1550 Series (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM)
And
Westinghouse LTV19w6
The Display Properties Report Correctly That A LTV19w6 Is Attached. But The Advanced Driver Info Reports That The Following Display Driver Is Being Used "Generic PnP Monitor"
There Seems To Be A Problem With The Combination Of These Drivers And The Actual Hardware. There Are A Great Deal Of Power Management Issues. And A Terrible Feedback Issue That Can Be Described As A Bright White Spot On The Middle That Increases In Intensity And Takes Over The Entire Screen When The Display Should Be Going Into "Sleep/Powersave Mode". The Display Will Not Power Down Correctly, Enter Sleep Mode On Its Own, Or Activate Screen Saver. Windows Reports That There Are No Other Compatable Drivers Available For Either Hardware Device.
Over Time The Display Has Begun To Develop Strange Lines That Can Be Described As The Type Of Display Properties You Experience When The Refresh Rate Is Incorrect On A CRT Monitor. It Is Getting Progressively Worse. Overall I Do Think Windows 7 Is An Outstanding Operating System. There Is However A Problem In This Area.

Seriously Folks. Nobody here has any clue what can be done to correct this?

It seems like you are experiencing a complex issue with the combination of the Radeon X1300 / X1550 Series and the Westinghouse LTV19w6 monitor in Windows 7, leading to power management problems, display anomalies, and driver issues. Let's break down some steps that can be taken to troubleshoot and potentially resolve these issues:

### Troubleshooting Steps:
1. Update Graphics Drivers:
- Ensure that you have the latest drivers installed for your Radeon X1300 / X1550 Series graphics card. Visit the AMD website or use Device Manager to check for updates.

2. Update Monitor Drivers:
- Similarly, check if there are any specific drivers available for your Westinghouse LTV19w6 monitor. Sometimes, monitors have specific drivers that can help with compatibility.

3. Adjust Power Settings:
- Check your Windows power settings to ensure that they are configured correctly. Adjust settings related to sleep mode, power-saving, and screen saver activation.

4. Check Connection:
- Verify that the connection between your graphics card and monitor is secure. Try connecting the monitor to a different port on the graphics card if possible.

5. Monitor Settings:
- Access the monitor's settings menu directly (if available) to adjust brightness, contrast, and other display settings. Resetting the monitor settings to default could also help.

6. Monitor Calibration:
- Consider calibrating your monitor using Windows' built-in display calibration tool to ensure accurate colors and settings.

7. Monitor Refresh Rate:
- Verify that the refresh rate set in Windows matches the recommended refresh rate for your monitor. Incorrect refresh rates can lead to display abnormalities.

8. Hardware Test:
- Test the monitor with another computer to determine if the issue persists, which can help identify if the problem lies with the monitor or the computer setup.

9. System Restore:
- If the issues started recently, consider performing a system restore to a point where the monitor was working correctly.

### Additional Notes:
- Compatibility Issues:
- Sometimes, certain hardware combinations can lead to compatibility issues. An alternative graphics card or monitor might be worth considering if the problem persists.

- Community Forums:
- Consider seeking assistance on forums or communities dedicated to Windows troubleshooting, where users may have encountered similar issues and found solutions.

By following these steps, you may be able to diagnose and address the display and driver issues you are facing with the Radeon X1300 / X1550 Series and Westinghouse LTV19w6 on Windows 7. If the problem persists, seeking professional assistance might be the next best step.
