Domain Name for Anywhere Access

Is it a bad idea to use the subdomain of the company's public website as the domain name when setting up Anywhere Access? Or should I be buying a brand new domain? We have an SSL certificate for the subdomain so I wanted to use that ideally.

I'm using the wizard in Windows Server Essentials 2016.

Many thanks for any help!

As long as you control the DNS for the sub domain there isn't really much concern.

two web sites would share the same bandwidth... in effect limits how many people can be on the sites [at the same time]
