I have just upgraded to Windows 7 from Vista Business.
It had to be a clean install so I backed up Vista and my files to an external hard drive using Windows Backup.
The only emails (.dbx) available now in windows.old were from a previous system, Outlook Express, which I have successfully extracted via Windows Live Mail.
I was using Office Outlook 2007 for my mail with Vista and there was nothing in windows.old on the upgraded system. Im using Office Outlook 2007 with my new system.
Is there anywhere else where they may be hiding?
I have the Vista Windows backup on an external hard drive which Windows 7 doesnt detect.
Is there any way I could extract my Outlook 2007 emails from the Vista Windows Backup????
The PC came preloaded so I dont have any Vista discs.
Otherwise I have lost a years worth of important emails
Thanks in advance!
