Haha yeah, that page is basically the “game is done, your license has expired” screen.
From what I can see, it’s the Star Trek: Resurgence “Thanks for playing!” / end-of-license message showing on star trek resurgence .com, and the fine print at the bottom indicates their distribution license is ending (so the game stops being playable for that access method).

Yeah, if the license/subscription period is genuinely over, then “legal options” really can be basically none—and that’s the brutal part. At that stage it’s not even a technical problem, it’s the contractual rug being pulled.
And I get the “shame” though: even games with terrible marketing can still be genuinely fun (especially when they’re aiming at a specific niche). Steam’s been pretty hit-or-miss on presentation/communication before, so it’s not surprising it left a bad taste.
