Hello,
My problem is that I cannot open or even copy some files in the hard drive of my former laptop because of permission and owner issues.
To give you more context, I had a computer operating windows 7. The hard drive had a partition specific for saving data. My Pictures was set in this partition. After 5 years of duty, this laptop would not start, even after changing the mother board battery. So I bought a new one and tried to recover data by USBing the HDD. Many files could be recovered by changing the owner (right click / security...). However for some pictures, I cannot make it. It says that the owner is unknown and when I try to change it, it politely accepts, but copy/open is still impossible and going back to the security menu it still displays unknown owner.
I love those pictures, please help me recovering them.
