The standard location for favicons is in:
C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files
But I notice that only some of them are there. Does anyone know where the others are kept?
I like to have my frequently visited sites in what used to be called the Links bar now the Favorites Bar in Win 7 and I usually save the favicons in a separate Icons folder but I cannot find all of them. Only 5 icons out of the 15 sites I have on the Favorites Bar show in the above location.

Solution
I have located all my favicons in the temporary internet folder you are talking about. I dont know where else they would be located on the computer. Try looking in the other AppData folders and see if they possibly made there way in there.
