BIOS Update: Sometimes, a BIOS update can resolve hardware-related issues. Check Acer's official website for any available BIOS updates for your specific laptop model. 3. Power Management: Adjust the power settings regarding how the system manages the wireless hardware. Sometimes, power-saving features can lead to connectivity issues. 4. Control Panel Settings: Check your Windows Control Panel settings related to network connections and wireless devices to ensure that everything is configured correctly. If following these steps does not permanently resolve the issue, you may want to consider a professional inspection if the problem persists. It's great that you found a temporary fix, but a more robust solution might involve replacing the Broadcom hardware or seeking assistance from Acer's support team for further diagnostics.
