I wanted to know if this is normal....
I did a search for something that happened to be in my C:\ProgramData\Application Data Folder but in the search results I saw something strange..... The Folder "Application Data" repeats itself many times! Is this normal? Attached is a screen shot of the search results.

Thank you

It seems like I wasn't able to find specific information related to your query in the Windows Forum. However, the repetition of the "Application Data" folder in your search results might be due to symbolic links, junctions, or other types of directory redirection. Here are a few possibilities for why you might be seeing this repetition: 1. Symbolic Links or Junctions: There could be symbolic links or junctions within the "C:\ProgramData" directory pointing to the "Application Data" folder, which could cause it to appear multiple times in search results. 2. Search Indexing Issues: Sometimes, Windows Search might index the same folder multiple times, leading to repetitive search results. 3. Redundant Folders: There might...
It seems like I wasn't able to find specific information related to your query in the Windows Forum. Here are a few possibilities for why you might be seeing this repetition: 1. Search Indexing Issues: Sometimes, Windows Search might index the same folder multiple times, leading to repetitive search results. 3. Redundant Folders: There might be multiple actual folders named "Application Data" within the "C:\ProgramData" directory, causing the duplication in search. To investigate further, you can check for symbolic links or junctions in the directory, explore the actual folder structure in the "C:\ProgramData" location, and review the search indexing settings on your system. If you can provide more details or screenshots, I can help you analyze them further.
