Windows 10 free upgrade to win 10 now i have to use my win7

hello,

To cut it short my pc got hacked yesterday and had malware and other stuff on it so i had to act quick tried to clean install win 10 through usb but didnt work out well for me so i used my win 7 cd to format driver and install it.

my question is will my product key work on win 7 after i free upgraded to win 10 ? after installing win 7 can i use win10 again ?

any help would be appreicated.
 
If you upgraded to Windows 10 before the deadline then all you need to do is install Windows 10 and use the Windows 7 product key.

actually i tried that method before to use usb boot but it didn't boot is there a update like i got year ago to switch to win10
 
Yes you can upgrade it's on the same link, click the 'Update Now' button

Your license from Win7 carries over to Windows 10. if you upgrade, the key is automatically carried over to "10". you're good. You're coming in at a good time, new update and its the best of the two updates IMHO. I started testing Windows 10 since January 2015 when this journey started
