I recently just formatted my harddrive. It went from Windows Vista to Windows 7. When I first installed windows 7, I selected the clean install, but it saved the old files in old.windows. I decided to format the drive and start fresh. Through ALL of these installs, I've had blue screens.
I just install again a few days ago and I've had 4 or 5 BSOD since then.
Attached are the dumb files/SF Diagnostic Tools and CPUID screenshots.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Caillte and Welcome to The Forum.
STOP 0x0000000A: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Usual causes: Kernel mode driver, System Service, BIOS, Windows, Virus scanner, Backup tool, compatibility.
Your latest dump file lists dxgmms1.sys as the probable cause. This is a Windows System file and for it to be the cause of your crash is highly unlikely.
Old and incompatible drivers can and do cause issues with Windows 7, often giving false error codes. Random stop codes can often indicate hardware issues.
As a Priority:
Norton is known to be a cause of BSOD's on many Windows 7 systems. I suggest that you uninstall Norton using the Link Removed in Safe Mode. Download Blue Screen friendly Link Removed due to...

Leave Memtest for now!! Lets see what dumps get thrown up in the next day. And a huge Thanks for your perseverance in trying to rid your machine of the Gremlins. Nice to meet someone who doesn't give up at the first hurdle. You realise you kept me up all night ya bugger! Waiting to see how things were going! And to think I do this for fun. What a sad life I lead. But strangely, very rewarding.
I've forgot, have you posted CPU-z screenshots?
Download and run CPU-Z. Take screenshots**/snips of the Mainboard tab, Memory tab and all the slot #'s under the SPD tab.
Go to Post Reply, click on the Go Advanced button and attach the screenshots**/snips to your post for all the RAM experts to see by using the paper clip you will find on the top toolbar. Do not zip them up.
**If screenshots, please crop.
Please make sure you cover every slot number under the spd tab.

Thank you for having the patience to stick around and help me fix this mess! I've been trying to figure it out for well over a year.
Not sure if I have, I THINK I have, but will do so again just in case.
Attached is the view of SFC/Scan now (no problems) and CPU-Z info. All labeled.
Will update tomorrow with any dump files that happen to show up.

I wonder if Windows Updates is "updating" them?????
GoTo Start >> r-click Computer, select Properties. On Properties select (on left) Advanced system settings >> Hardware tab >> Device Installation Settings button.
Make your Device Installation Settings as in the image below:

Alright. Used the program. Installed.
Date: 9/23/2009
Version: 8.661.0.0
And just to double check, I looked over the ATI website to make sure it was the most current one. Used driverscan to make sure there were no updates.
Everything appears to have the newest update.

Alright well, I've tried installing it again. Driver still says 2009, but when I use the current software from the website (one you linked) and go to custom install (I went to custom as a last resort) and clicked on each item to see what it was it did say that I already had the current version.
So, I'm guessing I may have it. Hopefully.
I've uninstalled and installed fresh more than 5 times now.

Time to run MemTest methinks.
Run Memtest86+ overnight, after your computer has been off for about an hour or two so it has a cold start. Ideally let it run for at least 7 passes / 6-8 hours. If errors appear before that you can stop that particular test.
Note!! Any time Memtest86+ reports errors, it can be either bad RAM or a bad Mobo slot. Test RAM sticks individually. When you find a good one then test it in all slots. Post back with the results.
