To get the Google Browser Sync plugin to work on Firefox in Windows Vista, you might be facing compatibility issues with the operating system. Google Browser Sync was discontinued by Google and is no longer officially supported, so it may not work as intended on newer versions of Firefox or on older operating systems like Windows Vista. Here are a few suggestions that might help you address the login issue: 1. Compatibility Mode: Try running Firefox in compatibility mode for Windows Vista. Right-click on the Firefox shortcut, go to Properties, and then navigate to the Compatibility tab to select the compatibility mode for Vista. 3. Mozilla Firefox Sync: Use Mozilla's built-in synchronization feature called Firefox Sync. It allows you to sync your bookmarks, history, passwords, and other settings across devices. You can find this feature in the Firefox menu under Options > Sync. 4. Upgrade to a Supported OS: Considering Windows Vista is outdated and no longer supported, it's recommended to upgrade to a newer version of Windows for better security and compatibility with modern applications and extensions. As Google Browser Sync is no longer actively supported, it might be challenging to get it working smoothly on Windows Vista with the latest Firefox versions. Upgrading your operating system or exploring alternative syncing solutions within Firefox would be a more viable long-term option.
