Windows 7 Help! All Programs Opening with Windows Media Center Instead of Their Defaults

So my solitare just disappeared. I searched for it in the all programs thing and when I clicked on it, it ssaid it couldnt be opened because there was no program specified to open it. I clicked on the thing that lets you decide what to open it with. The box at the bottom that makes everything open the same way was checked but i didnt notice. All the programs on my computer are now being run by windows media center. I cant use any programs, not even mozilla firefox! what did I do and what can I do?????

If other file types are affected you could also try:

Control Panel, Default programs and "set program access and computer defaults".

My first question would be do you know of anything you did that caused the problem. Since this is not a normal occurrence, if you did not do something, then you may have a virus.
