Windows 7 Help Needed: iTunes Installation Issues on New Windows 7 Computer

Hello I just bought a new computer and it came with windows 7. I am trying to download itunes however when i get the install process I lose the window and any other commands or prompts don't show up anymore. I have tried to disable the firewall I downloaded the 64bit which is what I have. I'm lost:confused: of what to do next any help would be appreciated.

*****UPDATE******

I was able to get itunes finally to my computer. I had to download a earlier version of itunes and now its updating.
