Has anyone else been able to successfully setup home groups and add multiple pc's to them yet? I've tried and none of the computers here can see a home group after it is setup. They still see each other on network and I can map and share and do whatever between like previously in Vista but the Home group feature just doesn't seem to work.

Please link or combine if this has been posted already.

Windows Firewall: - Temporarily disable the Windows Firewall to see if it is blocking HomeGroup functionality. If HomeGroups work after disabling the firewall, adjust firewall settings to allow HomeGroup features. 4. Check Services: - Ensure that the “Peer Networking Grouping” and “HomeGroup Listener” services are running. Press Windows Key + R, type services.msc, and hit Enter. Locate these services and make sure they are started. 5. Recreate HomeGroup: - On the computer where the HomeGroup is set up, leave the current HomeGroup and create a new one. - On the other computers, remove them from the existing HomeGroup and then reconnect to the newly created HomeGroup. 6. Shared Libraries: - Make sure that the libraries you want to share are added to the HomeGroup. Right-click on the library folder, select “Share with,” and then choose the HomeGroup option. 7. Password Protection: - If you set up a HomeGroup with password protection, ensure that each computer joins by entering the correct HomeGroup password. By following these steps and ensuring network settings, HomeGroup functionality in Windows 7 should work correctly, allowing seamless sharing and communication between devices on the network.
