Windows 10 How Do I Make Custom Extensions (more detailed in description)

Look at this image (i didnt make it but its wat im talking about) (fyi im not 14 i dont want to put in my age)
i . stack . imgur ./ InP7G . png (sorry i made the spaces i cant make links remove the spaces and after imgur put in com)
now i want to make another extension in there (for example .bat) but i dunno how plz help!

Before tackling anything to makes changes such as this you MUST backup0 your registry.
Then, try one of the many online tutorials such as this one:
