I have 4GB RAM on my notebook and a few apps running in the background. I'd like to know if there's a way to find out what's eating my RAM (at rest, about 75% of it is in use). I have Process Explorer - but that only tells me the % CPU used by app.

Hello there,

Try pressing CTRL + SHIFT + ESC
Then you should se windows task manager
Click processes and then click on memory then you should see something like this:
