I am very impressed with a new Windows 8 New Disk Error Checking Feature.
It takes about 1 minute to complete it and does not require any restart.
I remember, that in order to use the Disk Check tool on the same computer with Windows 7, it was necessary to restart my computer and the Disk Check used to run for about 30 - 40 minutes.
Let's hope that the Windows 8 Disk Check does the same quality job.
